Testimonials

"I’m an adult returner to piano. Mina has been teaching me for around two years  and for the first time in my life  I love my lessons.

She explains how the particular scales and other exercises  she recommends relate to the pieces I am learning, and has really helped me think about technique.

She is wonderfully patient, understands that life sometimes gets in the way of practice, but still makes lessons  a rewarding experience." Rosie Dawson, 2024

"I have been learning piano with Mina for over 2 years now, and have loved every lesson! Mina is an exceptional piano teacher. She has a great depth of musical knowledge which she delivers with clarity. Mina is an expert in her craft, this is visible by her ability to simplify complex ideas/ technical aspect. She offers specifically focused tasks which I find remarkably effective. Mina is an inspirational teacher, and highly recommend."

Lejla Halilovic, 2024

"Mina is an excellent piano teacher who inspires me, making me look forward to each lesson. She pushes me to excel and provides ample support, feedback, and guidance to enhance my skills and confidence. Achieving Grade 8 in October was a milestone I could not have reached without her instruction, compassion, and faith in my potential. She established attainable goals and assisted in balancing my practice time with my A-level studies. I wholeheartedly recommend Mina as a piano teacher." Jessica Dawson, 2024

"My son is really enjoying his music therapy sessions with Mina. Mina is kind and thoughtful and the session is very personalised to my son and his abilities. Mina uses a variety of techniques to keep my son engaged and to develop his fine motor skills and I am really impressed with his progress to date. Communication from Mina is always clear and organised and she is very flexible if arrangements need to be changed." Laura Lovell, 2024

"Five and a half years ago my daughter Anna began piano lessons with Mina. It is such a joy to see how far Anna has come in her piano playing thanks to Mina’s patience, encouragement, and very focused lessons. Mina puts a lot of effort and thought into each lesson and how to best support and help Anna on her musical journey. Anna truly enjoys having piano lessons with Mina and we would highly recommend her to any student that wants to learn and improve their piano playing with a professional yet friendly teacher." Verena Lawton / May 24

“Virginia (7) is throughly enjoying her piano classes with Mina and she is always looking forward to the next lesson. Mina is a very professional tutor and she is giving Virginia strong bases to learn the technique and to read music. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a valid and inspiring piano tutor in South Manchester.” - Marianna Longo, July 2021.

" Friendly, professional, patient and affirming. I would recommend Mina to anyone wanting to learn and enjoy playing the piano, including mature pupils such as myself".
- Andrew Dawson, July 2020.

"As a parent –  Jess comes back from lessons really motivated and says how much she has enjoyed the lesson.    Her piano practice is focused as Mina is clear about what she needs to improve on.    Mina has encouraged Jess to play a wide range of pieces, not just the grade pieces.   This makes the lessons much more enjoyable!" -  Claire Harnett, July 2020.

"My son Huey began learning piano with Mina when he was just six-years-old, and after one year he has come on so much with both his playing and reading sheet music. He isn't a sit still kind of kid, but Mina is so patient with him and has found lots of ways to keep him engaged. She makes learning piano fun and interesting for children by integrating games into the practice and allowing them to choose some of their own contemporary pieces. Her teaching style is the perfect balance of friendly and encouraging, yet very professional with an emphasis on progress. She always runs to time, communicates efficiently, and she's always helpful if we've had to make changes to lessons. I would highly recommend Mina to any budding student fortunate enough to work with her." - Melissa Bingham, July 2020.
